Zilber Property Group announced plans to break ground in spring on two speculative industrial buildings in Janesville, adding to its holdings in the Rock County community.

The two buildings, each with 178,000 square feet, would be ready for occupancy in fall 2021, according to a press release from Milwaukee-based Zilber. Their design includes floors, light fixtures and other elements that would let the buildings be used by food and beverage businesses.

Those two buildings would be north of the Beloit Avenue and Highway 11 intersection in Janesville. They would follow Zilber’s 2019 construction of a 302,000-square-foot speculative building near that same intersection. About 237,000 square feet of that building are leased to trucking company Ruan and Blain’s Farm & Fleet, according to Zilber Property Group.
