Zilber Property Group continued to expand its collection of industrial buildings in southeast Wisconsin with the $5.4 million purchase of a West Milwaukee facility.

The purchase near Miller Park Way is part of the Milwaukee real estate firm’s ongoing effort to buy “well-located” industrial buildings, according to a Monday email from Chad Navis, Zilber director of industrial investments.

“In particular, this property’s central Milwaukee market location and its access to an immediate area workforce made it a particularly attractive investment,” Navis said.

The building at 5000 W. Electric Ave. has 120,452 square feet.  More than half of it is leased to Hangers Unlimited Inc., which recently extended its lease term.
